Update on Duke Jr!!

Our Little Cowboy!!
Sean did great on his second time riding Frisco! We got there 15 min earlier so he could watch a couple of kids ride before him. So I think that did the trick, no tears at all. He' third time he did good but had to warm up to his new helmet and he had a new horse Rocky. The forth time he was like a pro and he did not even want me to hold his hand or to be right next to the horse.

"Dang it! I hate when the split rail splits my vision!" Sean is watching the kids riding before he had to ride.

He was great on his second time on Frisco and he works great with Tami.

He look so cute in his new helmet on his third time riding.

This is the back up horse Rocky.. Frisco hurt his leg so he will have to take it easy for a few weeks.

"Yep, those are my bronco busting awards..."

"Mom, the horse needs a BIG diaper!"

It was a real hot day, so today Sean rode inside big riding barn.
That was just fine for Sean because they had mirrors along one side of the barn wall and he got to watch himself. Sean does not even hold on when he is up on the horse and has great balance..Tami is his instructor (OT) and she is really great with him. I am so happy it is going so well.

Duke Jr is a natural on a horse. He needs to keep it up so we can go riding with him. Sharon, there is a pony in my backyard named Snowy who would be great for him to ride eventually. I can probably set it up with Liz. She's a really gentle cute little white pony that Dana used to ride. Your doing such a great job with your son, both you and Patrick are naturals at it. He's come so far in a year, he's so much fun to watch with you. The interaction is just precious.
