Some first's this past week!

We attended our first WHFC family picnic this past Saturday. It was in Waterford at Harkness Park. It was Sean's first time at seeing the ocean (well, Long Island Sound). We meet some really nice families there. It was great seeing so many kids having fun and flying kites. We discovered that our little Sean was somewhat a celebrity as some of these families recognized Sean from our blog and told us this when they came up to us. The weather was on the cool side and it was a little foggy when we first arrived but it turned out to be a pretty nice day. I would love to go back later in the summer so Sean could really enjoy the beach and water.

Summer time weather has arrived and I was happy to bring out Sean's little pool. It was his first of many dips he will have this summer. Sean sure does enjoys it. Yesterday he went in with clothes, shoes and all! Of course I did not have my camera handy. It has been fun watching Sean experience walking barefoot on the grass. He did not like it at first and would not leave the blanket without his shoes but now he walking on the grass with his bare feet (yahoo!) It took a few tries!
