Having this blog is another great reason to be thankful! I just recently was contacted from a family who has also adopted from
Bryansk using the same agency. They found my blog on the Internet. They went to meet their son a year ago this month which was a few months before we went to
Klintsy baby home for the first time. The mother wanted to share with us a few pictures she had. She had the caregivers take a couple of photos of their son in the orphanage where he slept.... and Sean happened to be in the pictures! I was thrilled behind belief to hear this news. When I got the photos and looked at them for the very first time, I balled my eyes out. My poor husband thought something was wrong with Sean, because I couldn't speak! Those photos are so special to me. It is just another snap shot in the life of our son that I will treasure forever. This is Sean in his room with all his pals. Sean and their son slept right next to each other. As always, Sean is standing up and conducting the band! My husband calls him the "cruise director" as he is always laughing and doing something!

This photo made me feel happy and sad all at the same time. I knew it was our little guy the moment I saw it.. He has a sparkle in his eye and the little smile on his face.. Priceless!!!
A big THANK YOU to Sean's bunk mates mom for sharing these photos with us!

What a special and amazing treasure you were given by this other family. We can never give our children enough photos or information about their time before us. I'm so happy that you were able to receive this gift!
Sharon, we must get the boys together (again!!) soon, this is really priceless. I mean what are the chances of two crib mates in an orphanage in Russia, ending up living so closely in the USA!
They won't believe us when we tell them this story when they are older and understand!
Looking forward to meeting you all soon!

How wonderful that you have this picture! I have pics from another family who was at Kristina's orphanage months before we picked her up and we treasure them.
Just as Jen called it ~ truly a gift.
