Red Square!

What a beautiful day today! We really enjoyed Red Square. I can not wait to go back again in the next day or so. So much to see. We took a tour of St Basil Cathedral. The beauty and history is amazing. We did a lot of walking even made back to Arbat Street for some shopping and much needed Starbuck coffee. Olga dropped us off in the morning and we took the subway home and actually made it thanks to Patrick's navigating.
Saviour's Tower, once the main entrance to the Kremlin

We must of seen six brides today

St Basil's Cathedral, the sun was so bright I could not get a clear picture. Next time...

Equestrian fountain, Alexander Gardens

GUM, The glass-roofed interior of Russia's largest department strore. Impressive!

Kazan Catherdral

Floodlit Resurrection Gate, Inside which is the Chapel of the Iverian Virgin. You should see the gate at night when impressively lit up.

Isn't it beautiful. I loved looking at the architecture and all the colors. At night it was amazing. St Basils must have been beautiful inside.

Love these pix. We just got home on 8/29 from Rostov with our son (also WHFC). We only stayed 4 days in Moscow at the end. We went to the Bosco Bar (in Red Square), and they had reasonable prices for tuna sandwiches (we stayed at La Meridien Red Square). Enjoy your time there . Congrats Susan and Mark

I agree -- beautiful pictures. We were only in Moscow 2 days, a whirlwind. I really wish we had 1-2 more days to see more of the city.

Enjoy every second and can't wait to see pics of your little one ~ HOME!
