Patrick's Party

We finally got around to having Patrick's birthday baseball theme party! (of course the Red Sox). The beer tent was the "Dugout", the food tent was the "Clubhouse" and the sitting area was the "Bullpen"! I had little baseballs as favors for the kids and Patrick put his signature on them. The day was muggy, but stayed dried, the kids loved the wading pool, the food we had catered was great, and the 1/2 keg of beer was gone before 8 PM! The stories were plenty and fun was had by all! It took two days to recover! Patrick's next party is when he turns 100!

Patrick got some great gifts, a Red Sox beer glass, a Daddy Hug reading book to read to Sean (that brought a tear to our eyes), a Russian spiderman comic book, a round of golf, a few cases of beer, plenty bottles of wine, a book on Alcatraz, and a couple of gift cards. Of course a box of adult diapers! Just to name a few. The stand out gift of the night a donation made to Wide Horizons for Children! (I will quote what was written in the card) "For children of Russia, so that a future "Sean" can have a Mom & Dad as the great as the both of you!" There are no words to describe how felt when we read that. A big thank you to all our family and wonderful friends!

The big game!
