OMG The call came today.

I can't believe our call finally came today Friday May 15th at 4:08pm. Yahoo...baby!

Kate called to tell us that our referral is for a little boy and that he is waiting in Bryansk to meet us. I am so happy we are going to that region! We will be traveling June 17th to Moscow and then taking our train ride to Bryansk on the 18th to meet our little guy on the 19Th. What a fabulous birthday gift and father's day for Patrick (Sean will enjoy this!). I am so overwhelmed with happiness and emotions, I can't believe it is finally happening. The call was so unexpected. I spoke to Kate (our coordinator) on Monday, and she told me that it would be June before we would get the call. Well, today she asked me if I was sending out prayers to the Ministry of Education in Bryansk & I said on Thursday I was looking at the calender and saying my prayers (Please let the phone ring!) I was actually talking out loud to myself.

Patrick and I were making bets on the day the call would come, and can you believe he picked today's date! I must suffer his position on this subject!

There must be the luck of the Irish in this endeavor!

Patrick's friends from work who called in tonight from California, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, and Minnesota have told him tonight he is the luckiest guy in the world! I also received calls today that was unexpected, from family and a friend on this wonderful day. I can not wait to find out all about our little guy. We had a little celebration at our local Irish pub with a few friends tonight.
