This past week we had conference call with our coordinator Kate. It was just update call. We will most likely get our referral in May or June, that is her best guess. Bringing our wait to 8 to 9 months since our dossier was submitted. :(
In Jan this year 2 families got a referral and in February there was 1 so far. From our region last year 6 children came home. Total for children coming home in 2008 was 38 children. In 2005 it was 84 children. You can see how the number is smaller due to the push on domestic adoption over in Russia.
We got together with Jill & Nick over the weekend and got see all of there pictures and video from Russia. They had a busy, non stop time when they were Ekaterinburg. They got to spend 3 days with there little boy. We toasted the occasion with the Russian vodka they brought back. It was a great night. We are both looking forward to our trip...
